Profile

 

Abigail Beeley is currently an Undergraduate Contemporary Art Practice student at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen. Her specialisms include (but are not limited to): Sculpture; Photography; Printmaking; Artist Books

 

Prior to commencing studies at Grays, her background has been in Theatre, Performance, Printmaking, Illustration and Design. She is a member of All The Young Grays Collective and has worked on a variety of creative ventures for Balkanarama, City of Edinburgh Council, Forest Cafe, Beltane Fire Society and Uke Boogie Berlin. As well as on countless other musical and film collaborations with local and international artists.

 

Her practice currently focuses on notions of Home and ideas of Utopia as inspired by past experience, philosophy and the current political climate in the world. She cannot claim to have all of the answers, but is doing her best to find them.
